Welcome to VCom! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VCom application, a synchronized desktop message bar platform for internal communication, especially suited for dynamic environments like dental practices. By accessing or using VCom, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
VCom provides real-time desktop messaging functionality for internal communication within organizations. It includes customized sound alerts, message routing, and presence awareness through installations on staff workstations.
You access VCom using secure, passwordless login via magic links. Email verification is required. Access to the app is managed at the organization level, and your organization may assign roles that control what you can do.
We use Stripe to manage billing. We store relevant identifiers such as Stripe customer and subscription IDs, payment method metadata (e.g., card brand, last4 digits), and invoice records. We do not store full payment card numbers or bank credentials.
You agree to use VCom only for lawful and professional purposes. You may not misuse the service to harass, disrupt, or impersonate others, nor may you tamper with installations or circumvent access restrictions.
While we strive to offer high uptime and performance, VCom may occasionally undergo maintenance or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption.
Your organization retains ownership of all content submitted through the platform (messages, replies, sound mappings, etc.). VCom does not claim ownership or reuse rights over that data.
You may discontinue use at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms or applicable laws.
VCom is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material updates will be communicated via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of VCom after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
